The address
Written out rather than linked, to keep the harvesters off it. Replace [at] with the usual sign.
Tell us which iPhone you are on and what you expected to happen. That is usually enough. We answer in a few days, and within 30 for anything about your data.
Things people ask
Too many notifications, or too few
Settings → Reminders → How often. Four settings, from off to several times a word. The words themselves do not change — only how often they come round.
The words are too easy, or too hard
Settings → Level. A new level starts tomorrow: today's three are already chosen and already on their way.
Cancelling the subscription
That lives with Apple, not with us — iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. We cannot cancel it for you, and nobody can charge you after you have. Cancel during the free week and you pay nothing.
New phone, or the subscription has gone
Tap Restore purchases on the paywall. If your progress is what is missing rather than the subscription, it was tied to the old device unless you signed in with Apple. Signing in is what carries it across.
Deleting everything you hold on me
Settings → Your data → Delete account. It happens at once and we keep no copy, so there is nobody to write to and nothing to wait for. Removing the app on its own does not do it — the identifier survives a reinstall on purpose, so that reinstalling does not cost you your progress.
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription: that one belongs to your Apple ID, and only Apple can stop it. The same screen links to where. What we hold in the first place is listed on the privacy page.
A word looks wrong
Send it. German is full of cases where two translations are both defensible and one is better, and we would rather hear about it than not.
